What to Expect in Middle School at Kingdom Leadership Academy

At Kingdom Leadership Academy, middle school is a transformative season where students grow from leaders in elementary school to leaders in middle school—and beyond.
Faith at the Center
Each day begins with chapel, where sixth through eighth graders join our high school students to start the day with the Lord. This shared worship experience builds unity and reinforces our commitment to Christ-centered education.
Building Life Skills and Strong Foundations
Starting in sixth grade, students take a Life Skills course designed to teach effective study habits, time management, and organization—essential skills for balancing academics with athletics and extracurricular activities.
Middle school students also participate in Physical Education and Biblical Worldview classes. Biblical Worldview is an essential part of our curriculum, equipping students to understand what they believe and why. This foundational course prepares them for high school Apologetics, where they learn to defend their faith with confidence.
Hands-On Learning and Memorable Experiences
Seventh-grade students enjoy an overnight Life Science trip, where classroom learning comes alive through hands-on exploration in nature.
Eighth grade offers two unique and impactful classes:
-
GEN 111: College Success Strategies – A dual enrollment course with Oral Roberts University, this class equips students with essential skills for high school and future college courses.
-
Outdoor Leadership – In the final seven weeks of the school year, students dive into leadership training through outdoor adventure. They learn canoeing, hiking, camping, biking, archery, sailing, knot tying, compass navigation, tenting, and survival skills while completing community service projects. This experience builds confidence, teamwork, and strong mentoring relationships—creating bonds and memories that last a lifetime.

At Kingdom Leadership Academy, middle school isn’t just about academics—it’s about equipping future leaders through a biblical worldview and excellence to prepare for high school fully and beyond.
