When we think of entrepreneurship, we often envision big or small businesses. However, entrepreneurship is more than just the business sector—it’s a mindset of innovation and creative problem-solving. Whether you're a stay-at-home parent, climbing the corporate ladder, or pursuing a career in the arts, the entrepreneurial mindset is something that will empower you in all aspects of life. Entrepreneurs are risk-takers, problem solvers, and inventors. They see challenges as opportunities and failures as stepping stones for growth.

At Kingdom Leadership Academy (KLA), one of our standout courses is our Entrepreneurship program. What makes this course unique is that it goes beyond the basics of business—it prepares students to navigate challenges, manage projects, and lead teams effectively. We teach this course through a biblical worldview, incorporating scriptures and biblical principles that guide us in stewarding resources, managing finances, and engaging in prayer. As future business leaders, our goal is to impact society, spreading the gospel through our words, actions, and deeds.

Throughout the course, students engage with local business leaders and enage into readings like Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. They also take on public speaking challenges and gain hands-on experience in business operations. Two major events highlight the learning experience:

1. Christmas Pop-Up Market:Our entrepreneurship students lead a large-scale pop-up event, collaborating with vendors from our 3rd-8th grade classes. The students handle everything—from planning and managing vendors to marketing the event. This year, the class took it a step further by creating a landing page for the event, showcasing their skills in digital marketing and e-commerce. Check it out here: Peppermint Pop-Up Market.

2. Shark Tank:In this event, high school seniors pitch their business ideas to a panel of investors and business owners. For months, they’ve been researching, praying, and crafting their business models with a focus on market innovation. The judges always ask tough questions, pushing our students to refine their ideas and think critically.

The core focus of this class is not only business acumen but also fostering creativity and honing problem-solving skills—skills that will serve students in any field. To learn more about this course and other innovative programs at KLA, schedule a tour today!
